Founded in 1986, ActionAIDS is Pennsylvania's largest AIDS service organization currently serving over 3,500 individuals and 250 families living with HIV/AIDS. In addition, ActionAIDS educates over 25,000 youth and adults in diverse communities throughout the Philadelphia region.
As a non-profit organization, ActionAIDS provides the highest quality, professional services that meet the physical and emotional needs of men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDS. Services include case management, outreach and prevention education, support groups, housing assistance and job assistance.
With the opening of Casa Nueva Vida in June of 2004, our new site in North Philadelphia, ActionAIDS will begin offering permanent and transitional housing for homeless men, women, and families living with HIV & AIDS.
