What is your primary product or service?
Intellectual property (i.e., patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets)
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have a Bachelor's degree in physics and a Master's degree in electrical engineering. I worked for six year's in General Electric's Aerospace Division, designing satellites. When I left engineering to go to law school, it made sense to give patent law a try. I couldn't see myself practicing any other type of law.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I believe that our strongest asset is the high quality of the work that we do. Our largest clients have retained our services while reducing the number of different firms they use, even sending us cases to finish that were started by those other firms. According to our clients, it is the high quality of the work that we do that is the primary reason why we are still getting their work.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Although we have one lawyer who works from Texas and another from New Jersey, our main office is located in Philadelphia. Our firm has grown over the years and may continue to grow as needed to accommodate increases in our workload.

Although we are based in Philadelphia, in addition to many local clients, we have clients all across the U.S., including New Jersey, California, Oregon, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Virginia, Missouri, New York, Arizona, and Tennessee, and around the world, including Taiwan, Germany, and France.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Kevin Drucker and I (Steve Mendelsohn) are the owners of the firm. We run its daily operations along with our office manager Gerry Marrero.
