How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
LinuxForce's founder, CJ Fearnely, started giving presentations about Linux to the Philadelphia Area Computer Society (PACS) in 1993. Then he helped form the Philadelphia Area Linux User's group in 1995. The business took off from there.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our maintenance and monitoring services are comprehensive and anticipatory and built on Debian GNU/Linux, the only operating system that supports production upgrades from one major release to the next for over 15 years.
Which areas do you service?
Most of our services are remotely delivered (we only need to go on-site for initial installations). So we can and do service customers around the world.
What are your hours of operation?
Because we are in the systems management business, we are available to our customers 24x7x365.
